Dear MUN Community,

Welcome to the 14th edition of Colegio Anglo Colombiano’s Model United Nations — CACMUN XIV. On behalf of the secretariat, we are beyond honoured to welcome you to this learning experience where our knowledge and leadership capacities will build a space for development of critical thinking abilities to evaluate challenges of global relevance.

​

Our signature theme “Eyes on Utopia, Feet on Earth” once again guides us in our endeavours to forge a unique model that cultivates global citizenship around the pillars of voice, community and legacy. We find ourselves as actors of a society with ever-changing political frameworks and thus, consider it our duty to catapult voices of individuals in the CACMUN community to create a long-lasting legacy of broadening perspectives. We encourage delegates to recognize the nuances of conflict and expose themselves to diverse viewpoints, because only then - we believe, growth occurs.

We are certain that the sharing of ideas among participants in CACMUN XIV will produce new and powerful generation resonances between all involved; prompting us to remember that another world is not only possible, but is on its way. Thank you for joining us as we envision a sustainable and just eutopia whilst standing on an earth of never-ending opportunities to unveil the hope to devise change.
